I love sewing... I love quick sewing - all of a sudden you have something created in front of your eyes. I dont like unpicking!!! A beautiful morning, I was all prepped to make a quick sundress for myself. After my last attempt at shirring, I over estimated the amount of material needed and the elastic was not as tight as I wanted. (for only a brief moment did I think about why people use patterns!)
It kinda looked like a moo moo!! So the unpicking began.............. and continued!
I cut off a portion of material and started again.
What was going to be a quick dress turned into a drawn out dress!
BUT I finished it and am very pleased with myself. If I had known what I know now before I started it would have taken no time at all. It was quite easy turning a rectangle piece of fabric into a strapless summer dress.
Now all I need is summer!
