Another birthday, another lucky girl receiving a colour on the go!

I decided to extend my designs and make one from scraps. I love all these pink materials and with only scraps left, I decided to add them in and mix it up. I really liked the outcome, though next time I will not sew the ribbon on so tight as it made it bunch a little. But over all I thought it was extremely cute.

I also added a little flap over the pencil section to keep the pencils in when you are on the go!
I needed to flip the pencils upwards as they were quite longer than the pens or textas used in other designs and the little flap finishes it off nicely, balances the design and looks cute!

Overall - I think its cute and was quite pleased as was the mum giving it as a gift.

HELLO SPRING, Hello Spring Palette

September has begun and I couldn't be happier. I LOVE Spring. The gardens, flowers, butterflies, singlet tops, pedicures, fruit tisanes, and the warmer weather. We plan on lots of days at the beach and barbeques in the backyard. And with it will be the addition of the new baby (EXCITING) and with this, I will be getting my body back in shape (hopefully!) and will need some beautiful spring outfits to keep up with my new addition!

I have begun to compile a spring palette for myself after being inspired by Collettes fall palette challenge sounds like a great idea and a lot of fun. I have only just brushed the surface but Im thinking soft florals and soft billowy (is that a word!) tops and some aline skirts and housewife dresses!
Have you got a spring palette??

Im in love with my pedicure I was treated too on friday. The colour is so bright and fresh and takes the focus off my bosoms and belly..... for now!

Dressing up for Book week

To celebrate bookweek and fundraise for less fortunate schools to buy books, the kids got to dress up as their favourite book characters and participate in a parade around the plaza. Who knew this would be the most exciting thing this week! The kids were up AND DRESSED by 6.45am the morning of the parade. And to be honest the excitement was contagious. I was excited for them and couldnt wait to go and watch the parade.
And I love the attitude that went with the characters! check out Master C's poses!
Can you guess who they were?
